Man arrested with country made pistol in Jammu: Police

Jammu: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a man with country made pistol during routine checking in Jammu.

In a handout issued to GNS, the police said that today a person namely Akshay Kumar son of Rajesh Kumar resident of Raghunath Pura Jammu , Aged – 24 Years, running a Drugs Rehabilitation Centre at Gharota in the name of Ayodhya Foundation got arrested with a weapon during routine checking.

FIR No. 38/2022 U/S 3/25 Arms Act has been registered in Police station City. It is a country made pistol, reads the statement.(GNS)
