Budgam: An assistant sub-inspector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has allegedly died suicide in Charar-i-Sharief area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said on Saturday.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the officer posted at Radar Station allegedly hanged himself to death late last night.

He said his body has been sent to sub-district hospital Chadoora for post-mortem.

The official said that police have taken cognisance of the matter—(KNO)
