Taj’s close associate quits DPAP, joins Apni Party

Srinagar: In another setback to Democratic Progressive Azad Party led by former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, president municipal council Uri Bharat Kumar on Wednesday joined Apni Party.

Bharat Kumar, who was a close associate of former minister Taj Mohiuddin, joined the Apni party in presence of Altaf Bukhari at party headquarters in Srinagar.

Talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Former minister Taj Mohiuddin said that Apni Party is purchasing people. “They are not doing politics, they are doing trade,” he said—(KNO)
