Demands of struggling anganwadi workers on wage parity, Clerical pay anomaly:Md Maqbool

A meeting of prominent Trade union leaders was held today at Srinagar which represented by about two dozen departments. The meeting was presided by Haji Ghulam Mohammad and attended by Md Maqbool ( JKCCTU), Md Sulaiman Teachers Forum, Ghulam Mohammad Kandi Health, Abdul Ahad Shiekh and Fareed Ahmad Mir PDD, Ghulam Mohammad Rather Agriculture, Abdul Samad R&B, Habib ullad Inqilabi Horticulture. Abdul Khaliq PHE and other veteran leaders.
The meeting expressed its serious concern over the Govt’s apathy towards the burning demands of struggling anganwadi workers on wage parity, SSA teachers on implementation of 7th, pay commission, Clerical pay anomaly, and pensioners issues and the demanded the immediate intervention from Hon,ble Governor to settle their issues. The meeting expressed its full solidarity with these struggling employees.
The meeting discussed the present ongoing Anti employees and anti people policies of the central and state Govt. The role of trade unions in this situation and decided to organized all sr, trade unions leaders especially pensioners to face the present situation and form a joint platform.
