SSP Ganderbal chairs Police community partnership Group meeting

Ganderbal March 29: Continuing its efforts to strengthen the police public relations, a Police Community partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was organized at Kangan Police Station in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal District today

The meeting was chaired by SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone and was attended by a huge gathering of people from different sections of the society like Jamia Auqaf Kangan, Traders Federation Kangan, Drivers Union and prominent members of civil society.

The participants highlighted various issues of day to day life and assured their cooperation and support in fighting the crimes.

SSP Ganderbal, Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone while speaking on the occasion explained the aims and objectives of the PCPG.

He highlighted the importance of the community members role in community policing and encouraged the youths to be members of PCPG. He spoke about various strategies adopted by Jammu and Kashmir police and are being implemented in near future to help the public especially youth.

SSP while referring to the issues highlighted by the participants assured them that their grievance will be looked into on priority.

SDPO Kangan Shri Umar Shah JKPS , Dy.SP Ganderbal Shri. Ashiq Hussain JKPS and SHO Kangan INSP. Manzoor Ahmad. were present on the occasion.

The participants lauded the efforts of SSP Ganderbal to build a connect with the people and demanded that such interactions should continue in future
