The committee after spot inspection found that at both the crushers, dumping of raw and finished material is being done on State land and Shamlat Deh. Moreover, a Shamshan Ghat also exists in 250 meters vicinity of the dumping site.
Due to illegal excavation of the river bed material near three dug wells on either sides of the river bank, the dug wells have dried up due to change of river course affected by indiscriminate extraction of RB material, the committee observed.
